SolarWinds is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. SolarWinds' network management products are built exclusively to run on Microsoft products, including Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 2003, and SQL Server. In addition to offering full monitoring support for Microsoft networked environments, SolarWinds collaborates with Microsoft on the development of custom solutions ranging from integrated network and systems management with the Microsoft Systems Center group to automated network discovery and diagramming with the Microsoft Office group.

Cisco® Systems

SolarWinds is a member of the Cisco Technology Developer program. In addition to providing support for Cisco networking equipment across the SolarWinds product lines, SolarWinds also develops applications that leverage specific Cisco IOS technologies. Both Orion NetFlow Traffic Analyzer and the NetFlow Real-Time tool in Engineer's Toolset were developed in collaboration with Cisco’s IOS team and support Cisco's NetFlow protocol. Additionally, Orion VoIP Monitor leverages Cisco IP SLAs.
